New Booklist: Fantasy & Magic for Young Readers (aka Picks for the Pre-Harry Potter Set!)

Here at the Library we're often asked to suggest fantasy books that aren't too scary (i.e. ones that don't begin with a child being orphaned and end with an epic dragon battle). Well, you ask, and we deliver! We have a brand new booklist full of magic & fantasy for kids who aren't quite ready for Harry Potter. Check it out here!

You'll see the list includes some picture books, some chapter books young children can read on their own, and some that might be better suited as read-alouds. Either way, we hope you'll find something you love!
